Hymns

As the deer that pants for water so my soul longs after You
You alone are my hearts desire and I long to worship You.

You alone are my strength, my shield
To you alone does my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire
and I long to worship You.

I want you more than gold or silver, only You can satisfy
You alone are the true joy giver and the apple of my eye.

You're my friend and You are my brother even though You are my King
I love you more than any other and much more than anything.

As we gather may Your Spirit work within us,
As we gather may we glorify Your name
Knowing well that as our hearts being to worship
We'll be blest because we came (x2)

Eastertide
I saw living water flowing from the Temple,
Blood and water flowing from His open side,
Bringing us the life of God and His salvation
And the people sang in joyful praise:
Allelu, alleluia!

We are people born of water and the Spirit,
We are people come to celebrate God's love,
We have come to heart the Word,
We have come to share the bread,
We have come to sing our praises to God above.

We are sons and daughters of the resurrection,
Halleluiah is the song we sing with joy,
All the praises we proclaim,
Go to God in Jesus' name
Through His cross He has become our great Amen.

We are folk who show concern for one another.
Yes, we know that God has given gifts to share.
Whether rich or whether poor,
Down and out or blest with more,
We are gathered here to tell you how much we care.

Cause me to come to your river, O Lord. (x3)
Cause me to come, cause me to drink, cause me to live.

Speak Lord Your Word, I am listening to You. (x3)
Speak to my mind, speak to my will, speak to my heart.

Feed me, O Lord, with Your body and blood. (x3)
Strengthen my mind, strengthen my will, strengthen my heart.

Come to the waters, all you who thirst,
Come now and eat my bread.

As earth that is dry and parched
In the sun lies waiting for rain,
My soul is a desert, arid and waste,
It longs for your Word, 0 Lord.

Though you have no money,
Come, buy my corn
And drink my red wine.
Why spend precious gold
On what will not last?
Hear me, and your soul will live.

The Lord is your light,
The Lord is your strength;
Turn back to him now.
For his ways are not
The ways you would choose
And his thoughts are always new.

As rain from the mountains
Falls on the land
And brings forth the seed,
The Word of the Lord
Sinks deep in our hearts,
Creating the flower of truth.

Come, priestly people, God's kingly race,
Dedicated nation, people of God,
Come and praise your Lord.

We sing to you,
O Christ, beloved Son of the Father,
We give you praise,
O Wisdom everlasting and Word of God.

We sing to you,
O Son born of Mary the Virgin,
We give you praise,
Our Brother born to heal us, our saving Lord.

We sing to you,
O light bringing us out of darkness,
We give you praise,
O guiding Light, who shows us the way to heaven.

We sing to you,
Messiah foretold by the prophets,
We give you praise,
O Son of David and Son of Abraham.

From the wells of salvation,
With joy you will draw water.

Truly God is my salvation
I trust I shall not fear.
For the Lord is my strength, my song
He became my savior.

O give thanks to the Lord,
Give praise to his name!
Make his mighty deeds known to the people,
Declare the greatness of his name.

Sing a psalm to the Lord
For he has done glorious deeds.
People of Zion, sing and shout for joy:
Great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.

How I rejoiced when I heard them say -
“Let’s go up to God’s house today”
Here we are in Jerusalem:
City of the living God.

Enter His courts with songs of praise,
Enter His gates with thanks.
He is the Lord, He is our God,
Honour and bless His name.

Come let us worship and bend low
Into His presence come!
We are His sheep, marked with His seal,
Faithful His love endures.

O that today we hear Him call
O that our eyes perceive
And may His touch warm up our hearts
O that we taste and see.

I've got a river of life flowing within me;
It makes the lame to walk and the blind to see.
It opens prison doors, sets the captives free.
I've got a river of life flowing within me.

Spring up, O well, within my spirit!
Rise up and tell, so all can hear it!
Spring up, O well, so I experience
That life abundantly.

I've got a river of life flowing within me;
It started gushing up when God set me free.
That I keep the flow is my only plea.
I've got a river of life springing within me.

Once I call His name there's a flow within;
It turns me from my day, makes Him Lord again.
As my spirit burns, Satan cannot win.
Calling, Oh Lord Jesus, keeps the flow within.
